I have gambled on countless of hands of vingt-et-un. I began sneaking into the gambling dens when I was sixteen. I have gambled on online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a little while. With all that said I have still spent a lot of money at chemin de fer. The casinos have made it basically impossible to defeat the house.

I still enjoy the game and bet on a regular basis. Over the years I have wagered on a type of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get flush with this tactic or defeat the house, however you will experience an abundance of fun. This tactic is centered on the idea that 21 seems to be a game of runs. When you are hot your on fire, and when you are not you’re NOT!

I wager with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I do not win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I don’t win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. Once I hit I take the payout paid to me and I bet the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the bet back down to the original bet.

I am very strict and never back out. It gets very enjoyable on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your bets go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200per hand. I have had great runs a number of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Venetian a few years ago with $750 after 45 minutes using this technique! And a few months ago in Sin City I left a game with $1200!

You have to understand that you can lose a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be astonished at the runs you see playing this way. Below is a guide of what you would wager if you continue winning at a $5 table.

Wager 5 dollar
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the initial five dollar bet

Bet five dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of ten dollar

Bet 10 dollar
Take ten dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 10 dollar bet

Bet 10 dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total bet of 20 dollar

Wager $20
Take 20 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $20 bet

Bet twenty dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $40

Bet 40 dollar
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the original $40 bet

Wager forty dollar
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total wager of eighty dollar

Wager 80 dollar
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the initial $80 bet

Wager $80
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total wager of 160 dollar

Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the initial $160 wager

If you left at this point you would be up 315 dollar !!

It’s difficult to go on a run this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and drop your wager or the final result will not be the same.
