I have bet on millions of rounds of blackjack. I started sneaking into the casinos when I was 16. I have enjoyed online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a little while. Given all that I have still lost all kinds of money at chemin de fer. The casinos have made it basically impossible to defeat the house.
I still like the game and play on a frequent basis. Over the years I have wagered on a variation of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get rich with this tactic or defeat the casino, still you will experience a lot of fun. This tactic is built on the idea that vingt-et-un seems to be a game of runs. When you’re on fire your hot, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I wager with basic strategy blackjack. When I lose I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I lose again I bet the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. Once I profit I take the payout paid to me and I bet the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the wager back down to the original value.
I am very disciplined and never "chicken out". It gets very exciting sometimes. If you win a few hands in sequence your bets go up very fast. Before you know it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had awesome runs a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the MGM a number of years ago with $750 after 30 minutes using this method! And a couple of months ago in Las Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You have to understand that you can give away a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be astonished at the runs you witness wagering this way. Here is a guide of what you would bet if you continue winning at a five dollar game.
Bet five dollar
Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the original five dollar wager
Wager 5 dollar
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total wager of 10 dollar
Wager ten dollar
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the first ten dollar wager
Wager 10 dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total wager of 20 dollar
Wager twenty dollar
Take $20 paid to you, leave the original twenty dollar bet
Bet 20 dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $40
Wager $40
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the initial 40 dollar wager
Wager 40 dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $80
Bet $80
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 80 dollar bet
Wager 80 dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total bet of $160
Bet 160 dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the original one hundred and sixty dollar bet
If you departed at this moment you would be up $315 !!
It’s iffy to go on a run this long, but it will happen. And when it does you mustn’t alter and lower your wager or the final result won’t be the same.
