I have gambled on millions of hands of twenty-one. I started sneaking into the casinos when I was 16. I have bet on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a little while. With all that said I have still lost all kinds of cash at twenty-one. The gambling halls have made it very hard to beat the game.

I still like the game and gamble on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have wagered on a type of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get loaded with this method or defeat the casino, however you will experience a lot of fun. This tactic is built on the idea that vingt-et-un seems to be a game of streaks. When you’re on fire your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!

I gamble with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I do not win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I do not win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. Once I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I return the bet back down to the original bet.

I am very strict and never "chicken out". It gets extremely fun at times. If you win a few hands in a row your bets go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had awesome runs a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the Luxor a couple of years ago with $750 after 45 mins using this tactic! And a few weeks ago in Sin City I left a game with $1200!

You have to understand that you can say good-bye to much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be surprised at the streaks you see wagering this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you kept winning at a 5 dollar table.

Wager 5 dollar
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the original 5 dollar wager

Bet $5
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of ten dollar

Wager $10
Take $10 paid to you, leave the first 10 dollar bet

Wager $10
Leave $10 paid to you for a total wager of twenty dollar

Bet twenty dollar
Take $20 paid to you, leave the first twenty dollar bet

Bet 20 dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total wager of $40

Bet $40
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 40 dollar wager

Wager forty dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $80

Wager 80 dollar
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $80 wager

Wager 80 dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total wager of 160 dollar

Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take $160 paid to you, leave the initial 1 hundred and 60 dollar wager

If you departed at this point you would be up 315 dollar !!

It’s herculean to go on a streak this long, but it can happen. And when it does you mustn’t alter and drop your wager or the final result won’t be the same.
